The purpose of this site is to provide a concise guide to African Jazz.

The launch of the site in 2006 was marked by the publication of a discography of the South African jazz musician Moses Taiwa Molelekwa. Click here to view this discography.

In December 2009 a feature about African Jazz 2000 to 2009 was added together with a Frequently Asked Questions section.

Over time the site will be developed to include CD and DVD reviews, articles about African Jazz and a bibliography.
